Step 2. Transform into a Mau and examine the big totem in the Black Claw OutpostA garrison of the Black Claw Mau in the southeast of the Mahindel Swamp..

Step 3. Examination complete! Go back to Taora.

Step 4. Go to the Black Claw Outpost and destroy Zemurru’s TotemA totem found in the Black Claw Outpost. Worshipped by the Mau who serve Zemurru.s (x3).

Step 5. Report the result to Taora.

Step 6. Go back to Altgard Fortress and report the result to SuthranThe Brigade General of Altgard Fortress. He’s quite brusque when he thinks his time is being wasted..

Step 7. Report to Taora that you failed to find the totem.

Step 8. Obtain Malodor ThornA thorn of a Swamp Malodor. It is used as an ingredient of a transformation potion.s and bring them to Taora. (You need to collect: Malodor ThornA thorn of a Swamp Malodor. It is used as an ingredient of a transformation potion.)

Additional Information

• OK, the quest description and the steps do not make much sense at first, so I’ll try and explain. The quest is to:
  • Talk to Taora and get transformed into a Mau
  • Quest timer starts and you have 5 minutes to reach the totem. The problem is that this timer seems to be bugged and sometimes runs out after 2 minutes. If you die you will need to collect the Malodor Thorn and do steps 7 and 8
  • If you do not die you will have to destroy the small totems and you will need a group for this (or be lucky enough that there is a group in front of you clearing the path already)

  To recap. Steps 1-6 if you don’t fail Step 2. Steps 7 and 8 are done only if you fail step 2. Need group for step 4 (do it along with other group quests for the Black Claw Outpost).
