Pls NCsoft do smth about this craft quest. Its impossible to get such ammount of balaur stains even after 5 month of farming for only 1 try! Buying them isnt solution too since price on one is around 300k and usualy there are only around 10-15 selling. Europe isnt Korea so I realy hope u will make it more suitable for our region. Thanks for understanding
l totaly agree with that , it’s just impossible to get 125 balaur stains, and even if we get that amount then we also got a change it will fail and we have to farm another 5 month’s or more. So plz NCsoft change it so that we also have a change to get this part of the quest… l really hope you guys can make it possible for the europe people. Thanks for understanding.
I have been playing Aion for about 9 months I only have 13 Boiling Balaur Stains. I farmed them even over the months knowing that I would need them for the pants.
I finally got to that part of the miragents quest, and I still need 100 of them. If it fails, I’m going to rage quit. I’ve played GuildWars have all expansions, and I have read too much about Lineage.. this is a trend of Asian games and it’s ridiculous. What I had to do to get the miragent pauldrons was crazy. It’s not so much how long it takes, but the fact that the drops are scarce, I once killed 37 target monsters before one item fell for my pauldrons. The only quest worth doing was the malicemarks, and that was only after they shortened up Theo Labs.
NCSoft, your games are the poster child of grind, and the only reason I play them is because I have an Asian wife who I figure might be familiar with the cultured aspects of your games (they are heavily Asian but that’s ok, even the fonts for the damage number in Aion look lifted from Street Fighter; it’s crazy.)
NCSoft you could have destroyed World of Warcraft. But, this game is worse than World of Warcraft because of the grind mostly, but also everything we hate in WoW exists here in Aion too… like the fact that any good item is soul bound and cant be freely traded to anyone. Most of the stuff in this game is soulbound, if it isn’t, it’s probably not worth anything. The gear that is worth having, has to be gotten only from killing Bosses, after hours of logistics and still competing with other alliances for damage output. All the instances have level prerequisites, so newbies or veterans might not be able to help.
Some of your quests simply can’t be completed out of determination, but purely by luck that others have to complete it too, and you can get a full well rounded group of those people, and everyone has time to go through the grind of 4-6 hours… a lot of these exists in your Aion game. Brigadier General quest, I almost quit until I got lucky to have an SM summon me out there, then I found a group, by chance…
It’s stupid. The gear doesn’t make me attached to the game, all the work put into getting it is purely negative. My EVE Online character is five years old, it takes five real life years to get to his level, but I never once felt I had to grind, and the effort is reinforcing which is part of the reason I refuse to cancel my accounts… the progress has real value. Something your game lacks completely. I can quit, and feel no regret.
Maybe you should stick to Tetris “Another player”.
The game does not force you into anything, altho games wich is “cool” is the ones having good items, and what items is good if they are get in every mob you kill? solo?
You can still get the gear needed to get around, if you dont got what it takes to grind abit and just maybe, maybe (!) get that little special rare piece to make Sanctum happy enough to reward you with a awesome pair of leggings wich clearly states: I DID IT!
I mean.. what would the game be without soulbound items, sucky droprates and wtfgg ezmode solomode…. Really?
Im really surprised you didnt ask them to make everything free and remove Kinah aswell…
Have a pleasent time gaming.
/ Happy grinder
Just procced it on my 1st try. I’m sorry for you guys 😛
Another Player is right about the soulbound thing its retarded. If they make us work forever for 1 item at least let me do wtf i want with my item after i got it, like trade it to a new friend that joined or just sell it.
people have done 4 times and did not go da da I die as the% of chance to make craft already spent 20kk and try I think this is the hardest
