The Stigma System
The Stigma system is in a form of a skill slot tree that allows the players to further customize their characters. In this way the players of the same class have different abilities that can not be learn from books. In the appropriate capital city for each race you can locate a Stigma Master:
Miriya– Sanctum – Elysean Stigma Master;
Aud – Pandaemonium – Asmodian Stigma Master.
While some of these stones are readily available, others can be very rare and therefore prestigious. The number of Stigma Stones you can equip depends on the level of your character.
Number of Stigma Slots
Each character can equip up to 5 stigma stones.
* Level 20: 2 Stigma Slots
* Level 30: 3 Stigma Slots
* Level 40: 4 Stigma Slots
* Level 50: 5 Stigma Slots
With patch 1.5 there will be the additional three advanced Stigma slots that can be unlocked by doing certain quest-lines. Advanced Stigma slots can hold either new advanced Stigma Stones or the regular Stigma Stones but Advanced Stigma Stones can’t be equipped into the normal slots. The first advanced Stigma slot is available at level 45.
Equipping a Stigma Stone
Once you have spoken to the Stigma Master and asked that they assist you with equipping a Stigma Stone, your profile window will open to the Stigma tab. Drag the stone you wish to equip to an available slot. Once the stone is placed a confirmation window will pop up asking you to confirm this action. This window also informs you of the cost (in Stigma Shards) of equipping the stone. The cost is based on the level of the stone you attempting to equip; the higher the level the more shards you will need to equip the stone. The shards can be found by hunting creatures in the Abyss. You also get shards as a reward from the Stigma quest (1 time only).
Stigma Shard cost is four times the level of the stone!
Stigma Quest
In order to gain access to your stigma panel, you will need to complete a mission quest at Level 20 that is common for all classes of the same race.
For Asmodians the quest is No Escaping Destiny and for
Elyos Memory Of The Past
Once you finish the quest you will have access to two Stigma slots, get your first Stigma Stone for free and get 300 Stigma Shards.
Stigma Stones
After completing the stigma quest you will receive your first stigma stone. Other stigma stones can be acquired as drops from monsters. Regular monsters drop stigma stones very rarely, while named monsters are more likely to have one in their possession. Stigma stones can be traded, so you can always acquire it from other players.
