- If you get any errors, completely shut down your NCsoft Launcher and boot it up again. Make sure it’s patched, and make sure Aion is patched.
- If you are getting GameGuard errors, you haven’t patched the game completely. Shut Launcher down fully and restart.
- Getting “You cannot run any more cliennts”? Let me know what server you’re on and I’ll have it looked into.
- If you’re getting Error 36 it’s one of two reasons. 1) Something blocks your connection, 2) The server is overburdened.
- If Aion is in Korean for you – restart the Launcher, right click on Aion and click Properties -> Language Options
- Any other known resolution to the korean language in client issue – Close Aion and the patcher. Then relaunch and patch both. You should get a 800MB patch.
- You should now be able to patch up French and German as well, just make sure to restart Launcher.
- I keep getting ID or password doesn’t match. What’s causing this? – Update your game account password on us.ncsoft.com
- If you get the note “The name includes Forbidden Words.” Either you are trying to sneak in a bad word or this name has already been given to an NPC.
- Error Code 3: First delete all files from C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\local settings\temp directory . In your Aion directory there is a version.ini file. If you have the wrong version (the correct one is 1.5.0.6.), you should manually edited version.ini to 1.5.0.6. Relaunched and patch.

Still have error 36 all time…
Im trying to create my character today to save the name however im geting ‘you have not made a payment’ Any ideas?
My version worked fine and patched fine up until today – now I keep getting told it experienced a problem and need to repair. I repair and then click on Play – same result. Anyone else experiencing this?
I cant seem to get a break from all these errors pop’n up everytime I try to launch. I launch, see the winged logo. comp freezes.. restart see I had an error. Fixed error 3 now have error 36. fixed that now have error 3 again and 36.. so now im repairing for the last time hopefully.
this is just down right ridiculous.
I keep getting this error saying “This program is unavailable in your country”.. so idk wut exactly is happening, i tried to restart my computer, but that didnt fix anything, it was working fine till i started to have problems, so I redownloaded and installed… and now this.. plz let me noe if u guys have any ideas of how to fix it.. ty!
My game does not work when i click launch it saids some data is missing but i checked a few times to see if there is anything missing but there isn’t any data missing .It saids send error or don’t send.Well i submited to send the error not a reply yet.
When I try to run Aion, after the image of the elyos (for the expansion) an error appear: error 1023, Failed to set the graphic acceleration process. Please help me!
i downloaded aion again to my computer after i had it factory reseted it downloaded correctly but when i try to launch it it says failed to set graphics acceleration preferences how do i fix this i already paid for my account to be reactivated im hoping i didnt do that for nothing any help would be appreciated i just want to fix the problem and play
