Aion servers merge is nearly upon us bringing some new speculations and putting a huge amount of curiosity and concern into circulation. This week we have a new question for you: What are your plans after the servers merge?
The transfer process is a bit more complicated than you think. You will not be able to transfer a character to a server that will create a race restriction conflict. Additionally the transfers will occur only during weekly server downtimes.
For example: It is Sunday night and you have an Elyos on New Vaizel and you wish to move your Asmodian to New Vaizel. You will first have to transfer the Elyos off New Vaizel and onto another server that will not create a race conflict. You will have to wait for the weekly maintenance to occur and the transfer to happen.
Once the Elyos has been transferred off New Vaizel then you put in a transfer request to move your Asmodian to New Vaizel. This transfer will wait until the next week’s server downtime and the transfer occurs. [Trine]
Aion team has previously announced that the Refer a Friend program would be updated on June 23rd, unfortunately it will be delayed 24 hours, so be ready to refer your friends on Thursday!

Aion team has announced today that on July 8, Aion character transfer service will be opening for all Daevas.
On July 8, our character transfer service will be opening for all Daevas. To thank you for waiting patiently for this service, and to help make our server merge a much more enjoyable experience for everyone involved, we’ve decided to give our players unlimited free character transfers until August 18. During this period, you are welcome to transfer as many characters as you desire. After the free period is over, character transfers will be available for monetary fee.
The server merges will happen on Wednesday, July 7 2010. Everything on your characters will transfer with you, including items, equipment and Kinah. Items in the Legion warehouse will be transferred with the Legion Brigade General to his/her new server. Items you have on the broker will be transferred to the broker on your new server. Your legion will stay formed through the Legion Brigade General. All characters in the legion will remain so on the new server. Characters will keep their AP points. All Abyss Fortresses’ ownerships will be reset during the merge.

It’s not official yet, but it will take approximately two more weeks before we have Aion Character Transfers:
We had expected to communicate some concrete information today, but we identified a few key bugs in the testing process in this week that we haven’t been able to fix yet. At this point, it’s looking like we’re going to miss our target date by a week or two, but nothing is official yet.
We understand this is frustrating, but we’re working around the clock to finalize all the details surrounding character transfers and server merges. Hang tight!

We have decided to add a new category to our site – Weekly Poll. Polls such as this will give an exciting overview of player interests. Every Monday we will prepare a new question for you, and this time the question is: Do you PvP and Why? If you have any suggestion please let us know.

First thing first – it is called football and not soccer! Second, NCSoft launched a great site with an awesome flash game to commemorate the start of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It is called Atreia Summer World Cup and you control a cute little winged Shugo attempting to reach as high as possible while picking up wings, points and time extensions. The game will be available only up to June 25, 2010 and there are cool prizes to be won if you submit your score. Up for grabs are Alienware M11x laptop and gaming gear from SteelSeries and there are also daily prizes available including Tutty ‘N’ Beans! For the full list visit the prizes page. Make sure you check it out because the game is really well executed and fun. Read the official announcement here or
