Developing an appetite while crushing your enemies in the Abyss? You are in luck because in Aion 2.0 you’ll be able to wield weapons of immense power that also look pretty edible.
Korean powerbook (equivalent of our powerwiki) released screenshots of these “funny” looking Aion 2.0 weapons so if you ever had a desire to stick a corn looking dagger into your enemies you are able to do so now. For some reason, most of the Aion players are not paying attention to the appearance of their characters, but recently I noticed a certain changes that keep spreading across the Atreia! If you are interested in transformations of fashion stereotypes take a look at our suggestions.
Another week has started and this means I can jump into another one of our Monday Aion Rants. This week we have a special Video edition. The Blog community has not been as active in the past 7 days so nothing new to report there, but I did come across several Aion related videos that I think will go well with your Monday coffee (or other Monday ritual you prefer).
First off, in accordance with the holiday, we have an Aion Easter Egg video that the German mmorpg site PlayMassive released. It shows how you can use the geysers to jump to a remote and hidden location. I must say it looks wonderful.
To avoid today’s April Fools madness NCSoft released a new video yesterday showcasing some new content and graphics improvements that are incoming with the 1.9 patch. I thought I start a new segment here on Aion Life. It is Monday after a double XP weekend. Your eyes are puffy from non stop playing and caffeine from all those energy drinks/coffee is slowly dwindling, bringing the harsh truth of your favorite day of the week, Monday, to your attention. Whether you’re at school or work we have a cure for your case of the Mondays. Brief news and funny community bits and pieces about your favorite pastime – Aion. I like to call it MAR, or our Monday Aion Rant.
Apparently, there’s an overwhelmingly positive response of the Aion community to the double XP weekends because NCSoft is introducing another one of these, mere two weeks after the last one. Aion Life’s scientific team sat down to determine why the community likes double XP weekends so much. The image above is the result of their 2 month research that cost hundreds of millions. You guys check out when double XP weekend starts on your server below, while we feed our science team to the alligators.
NCSoft decided to share the love with its Aion player base by enabling double XP weekend this Valentine’s day. On Friday, February 12 at 8 p.m. (server time), double experience will be enabled and run through the weekend, ending on Monday at 8 a.m. (server time).
